How'd you like using the alignment stickers? I used the suction cups and placed them in the two top corners, but I think that actually made it harder to line up the right side, thus why it ended up being off slightly.
I wasn't too worried about scratches either, but something I forgot to mention was how many fine scratches and circular...anomalies...I found when I gave the screen a good clean in preparation for the screen protector. When I saw all that, I was super glad I had ordered a screen protector. I bet...
I ordered a matte screen protector someone else referenced earlier in the thread (Innosure from Amazon). It arrived today and I put it on. Overall, easy to install, save for trying to get all four corners and the sides perfectly aligned. Mine is off to the right by like a 64th of an inch. Just...
Haha I get it. Sometimes those "minor" irritants are the ones that take the longest to get dealt with. Please do update if you tackle it.
If I don't deal with mine myself, I'll definitely have the dealership look at it when I'm in for service as my Ranger came with some remaining factory...
Thanks, appreciate the insight into removing the grille. Definitely something I think I can manage but if I do it I will do it on a day I have lots of time so I don't rush anything and can really take my time with each step.
Curious if you ever got this fixed? I also have a 2024 and have the same gap between the bumper and fender on the driver's side. Haven't had time to dig into it myself yet but plan to at some point soon.
I would plan to reuse the retainers, but I always like having some spare hardware on hand in case something breaks, or looks like it could break. My rule of thumb is if hardware looks suspect, chuck it and put on new. But with how pricey the little retainers are, I may forgo them and plan to...
Thanks for the input. Yes, I think removing the grille is the way to go based on everything I've read and seen in other threads. Luckily I have different trim removers and oddball hook tools that are good for reaching those clips to release them, plus a heated shop to work in, so logistically...
Hello fellow Ranger owners,
New member reporting. I took ownership of a gently used 2024 Ranger XLT 2.3L in oxford white a little over a week ago. I've always wanted a Ranger and really dig the current gen. So far, I'm liking it. Very cool truck. I've previously owned a Sport Trac, couple of...
I just got my Ranger a little over a week ago and my rear sensors were working perfectly fine, wet or dry, dirty or clean, until the truck software updated last Tuesday. Sensors suddenly stopped working after that. I cleaned the sensors at the car wash twice, and at home by hand with soapy water...
