Love the way it looks!
I had been thinking of how to move the spare to the bed, but did not want to give up all the space in the bed. I really like the setup and how that turned out!
You can open the tailgate, roll the bed cover in and have access to the spare, and still have the full bed...
FYI, I am not trying to debate which is better, perch collar or strut top spacer.
I have seen quite a few people here that have used spacers for a Bronco.
Do a search for Raptor lifts and scan thru some of the post and you will run across the post with spacer lifts.
I added one post below.
I’m actually going to make another set out of 1/8 inch ABS textured board today and see how those look. Much cheaper than aluminum and no need to spray bed liner on them.
Fabricated some running board drain hole block off plates. It took me about 30 minutes total time to make. I made a template out of cardboard, used some scrap aluminum I had in the garage, DA sanded them and sprayed them with “Raptor” bed liner.
Finally got my American Adventure Lab kit today and installed it tonight. It is a very nice kit that was easy to install, and the housing snaps in ridiculously tight!
Very pleased with the kit.
When I decided to order a Ranger Raptor, I decided to sell my 2018 GT350 Shelby. I had a personalized tag on the GT350, “VOODOO” most of you probably understand.
So I transferred the plate to the RR when I bought it.
I get questioned regularly what does the plate mean and I explain about it...
I thought the same thing about the graphics, ultimately I wanted a black RR and liked the graphics on the black.
If I changed my mind down the road I could always pull them off.
I called 10 days after I placed the order and asked what was the estimated time frame when they would ship. The relocation brackets were just going out to the powder coater and would ship out when they get them back.
I also ordered the American Adventure Lab kit, I was told about 3-4 weeks before it would ship out.
I was hoping someone on here had installed one, and would have some feedback.
