planning to go with K03 or wildpeak AT4 for the summers. On a +40 or +45 rim. Depending on the width you go with on your tire you are probably looking at about 1-1/2 inch poke on +30.
Assuming those rims have the same +55 offset that my lariat has, I don’t think a 285 tire will fit without a spacer. I have 265/70/18 on mine and have very little clearance to the upper control arm.
Against my better judgment, I am going to assume this isn’t a troll post from someone that has nothing better to do than coast down a hill to get some false numbers for some delusional sense of entertainment and recommend you to take your ranger to the dealer for a diagnostic.

There is little if any rake on my truck with the superlift kit installed and no other mods. A rough measurement with a tape measure shows about 23-1/2” from center of wheel to bottom of wheel well for front and rear.
There is a company in Australia called Hamer 4x4 that makes a 3” round tube one for their model. I’m looking for something like that. Armadillo also has a similar one.
My 2.7L Hot pepper red ranger lariat with mods so far.
- Ikon rocklear paint protection
- Winter tires on OEM rims: 265/70/18 (33’s)
- Level kit: 2.5” Superlift
- Custom vinyl decals and ford badge tint
Still to come:
- Weather tech floor mats
- Air design fender flares
- Wheels and tires for...
Diameter wise you will be fine. The width would be my concern. I installed 265/70/18 on the OEM lariat rims and have VERY little space left between the inside sidewall and the control arm. You could add a thin spacer to get the clearance.
I have the Lariat also and I live in norther Alberta. The AT tires are not good winters. I installed Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3 on my truck on OEM 18” rims. I went with 265/70 R18 because I am getting K03 for my summers and they are the same 32.6” in diameter. Get what ever size you prefer, but I...
