Same for me, I smell it when I come to a stop or slow way down.
I did a lanolin coating on my truck several months ago, but the smell of burning lanolin and this rubber smell are completely different.
Keep me posted if they find anything. I’m at about 6k miles.
I wonder if it could be the serpentine belt slipping a little when it’s actively snowing out and the belt is still cold. But I don’t ever hear any squealing.
Anybody else get a burning rubber smell through the air vents when driving while it’s snowing out? It has happened a few times now, and it seems to always be when it’s snowing.
Any ideas what this creaking plastic noise might be on cold start? Gonna try to recreate it this weekend if cold enough and pinpoint where it’s coming from.
