Seems like it. I called the parts department at my local dealer and they said they'd never heard of a plug cover for the newer rangers....
Would you mind posting photo of what yours looks like, specifically the plug face, so I can see if it might fit the newer 24+ rigs?

Thanks for the idea, but I had already tried that... videos are all for the old style tailgates with the removable cables and pull out at 45 degrees style gates.

Just picked up a new 2025 XLT and looking at how to remove the tailgate so I can install a camper. Looks like a pain in the ass… at least 4 bolts (2 for tailgate, 2 for cables), plus releasing the torsion bar. Am I missing something?
