  1. Multiple safety alerts on the dashboard and the app

Finally got the root cause and fix details from the dealership. It’s not anything I was expecting: “The securing connector tab on the power steering control module is missing, allowing the wiring harness to slightly back out at times, is what was causing all of the issues. The module is only...
  2. Multiple safety alerts on the dashboard and the app

I requested one before giving them my truck, and they obliged with a new Explorer ST Line. Can’t complain 😁
  3. Multiple safety alerts on the dashboard and the app

It's not only Ford, my previous vehicle was a Subaru Outback Wilderness. My car had less than 10K on it, and during a trip to Miami, the battery started dying on me. I had to buy a jump starter and use it every time I had to turn off the engine during the 13 hours trip back home. It seems that...
  4. Multiple safety alerts on the dashboard and the app

Good to know, thanks for sharing. After two days in the shop, I am wondering what’s going on and I’m hoping for a simple battery replacement.
  5. Multiple safety alerts on the dashboard and the app

1 to 3 are possible, but if it was the battery, I would probably have my truck back by now, so 2 or 3 maybe? Rodents are not a possible reason, due to my Ranger being fairly recent (less than 4K miles) and always sleeping in my garage. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
  6. Multiple safety alerts on the dashboard and the app

In the past week, I started having multiple safety alerts lighting up the dashboard of my ‘25 Lariat, for different safety related systems. At first I did not notice anything different in the vehicle performance and behavior, and all those alerts were gone after I turned off the vehicle for a...
  7. What did you DO TO your 6G Ranger today? 🧰 🛠️ ⚙️ 🧽

Today I put the final touch on my '25 Lariat, a 1.5" leveling kit from ReadyLift. My Ranger came out of the factory 3" lower in the front than the rear. After leveling, the front is now 1/4" lower than the rear, which is perfect in my opinion. I also installed Husky Liners rocker panel...
  8. What did you DO TO your 6G Ranger today? 🧰 🛠️ ⚙️ 🧽

Today I put together a custom fit bicycle carrying bar that can securely transport up to three bikes standing upright. I use an elastic net to keep the bikes secured to prevent them from moving or bouncing during transport. All the parts are from Amazon, and I have enough material to make three...
  9. New grill chrome bars, like or dislike?

If you are referring to the 2026, it’s not an issue when selecting the Black Appearance package, which is the second option I selected on my 2025, right after the V6.
  10. Black Ranger raptor with cap, need pic.

Looks pretty good! How is your experience with the Flated cap? I am looking at this option, so I can install it only when I need it, and leave it in the garage otherwise.
  11. POLL: Which trim did you buy?

Towing capacity is the key difference, which is why I opted for a Lariat. It’s a very significant difference between 7,500 pounds for the Lariat, and 5,510 pounds for the Raptor. If you need to tow more than 3,500 pounds, the Raptor is not suitable for the job.
  12. Largest Tires Possible on Stock Rims 18" Wheels?

I noticed a similar speedometer error with my 2025 Lariat, when compared with GPS speed in Google Maps. I will install 265/65R18 tires to get a bit more rubber on the road, and the slightly larger size will also fix the speedometer error as a bonus.
  13. Looking for 1” or 1.2” wheel spacers

Amazon is your friend—> https://a.co/d/dOJbdBp Wheel spacers are relatively cheap and in my opinion, buying used comes with unknown risks that are not worth taking.
  14. Going to need new shoes soon

    I stand corrected
  15. Going to need new shoes soon

Good point, I missed that and was confused when the other poster pointed out the date of the test, instead of the two tires being different.
