  1. Ford to Stop Offering 2.7L v6

Exactly. The pic you posted looked like a fine belt. These people who are bitching about new technology and ways of doing things are hilariously ignorant.
  2. What year should I get? (?'s from an excited soon to be RR owner)

My recommendation is to skip the car purchase and invest your soon to be windfall. Once passive income can pay for the RR, go for it! That said, I'm in sales too and every time I close a deal (my deals are at least $50M) I'm tempted to go grab a RaptoR! Haha. Congrats on closing the deal and...
  3. Ford to Stop Offering 2.7L v6

    With 250K miles.......
  4. Need an Anti-Sway Hitch or Other Solution

The weight is one thing, its the fact these cheap travel trailers are boxes on cheap axels and wheels. Tow a 5500 to 6000 lb flat deck trailer all day with a Ranger and it'll be fine. Heck, even a high quality off road trailer (Patriot Campers) that weighs 5000 lbs is fine. Its the cheap boxes...
  5. Need an Anti-Sway Hitch or Other Solution

Agree but a 22' travel trailer is just too big for a mid-size truck too IMHO.
  6. Need an Anti-Sway Hitch or Other Solution

That Ranger has about 1400# of payload, a GVWR of 6170 and a GCWR of 12,745 (I have nearly the same one). I can almost guarantee that if he measures the front area of his trailer it will be more than 55 sq ft which reduces the max towing capacity and adds to the unstableness.
  7. Need an Anti-Sway Hitch or Other Solution

I'd just recommend he gets a 1/2 ton truck. That camper is too much for the Ranger.
  8. Need an Anti-Sway Hitch or Other Solution

A few things 1. The only real solution is to get an F150 with the Max tow package and a 1600# payload 2. A 22' RV with that large of a frontal area is way to large to safely tow with a Ranger. It's even in the Ranger tow guide how much to reduce tow rating by using the frontal area formula they...
  9. One touch up/down windows for rear windows

Most likely because they have some risk if a child has access to that feature. If a childs hand got caught in a closing window there is a huge probability they'd be sued. Again, 95% of lawyers and most parents are the biggest societal problems. They are always looking for ways to offload...
  10. 3.0L EB to be new base engine in '27 F-150

The emissions standards are enforced on a manufacturers fleet as a whole, not per vehicke or engine. So, as a manufacturer sees how many of a certain engine/vehicle are selling they have to make sure what they are offering and people are buying will allow them to meet the standards in a given...
  11. Stupid question - cell phone holder.

Tackform is the ONLY way to go. Never had one until my 2025 Ranger. It's the absolute best in every way.
  12. 3.0L EB to be new base engine in '27 F-150

I see so many people bitching about the cost of gas. If a $1 a gallon increase is of any real hardship, probably shouldn't be spending money on anything but basic necessities.
  13. 3.0L EB to be new base engine in '27 F-150

And yet the fools that live in your and my neighborhood vote for the politicians that push all th Huh? I dont see that being the case. Fuel isnt even that expensive now.
  14. 3.0L EB to be new base engine in '27 F-150

This is an absurd and unintelligent take. 1. Outside of the exhaust note, the 3.5LTT is so far superior to the 5.0L it's absurd to choose the 5.0. I've had both..... 2. The 2.7L in the F150 isn't being killed because of emissions. 3. As someone who also has a 2.7L Ranger, the 5.0L in it would be...
