I was the market for a new Maverick in June of 2025 when I stopped a dealership. While passing the used cars I noticed a 2024 Ranger STX 4X4 looking brand new sitting there. When the salesman approached and I asked about it he told me that it only had less than 1500 miles on it and it was first put on the road in September and the original owner traded up to a full sized pickup two weeks prior to my visit.
It had running boards, EcoBoost 2.3L, Electronic Rear Diff, Carpet mats and floor tray liners and STX appearance package. Under the hood was immaculate like it had zero miles on it.
I was hooked on it and when the salesman told me the asking price, which was 5,000 less than original sticker, I bought it.
Ten months later I'm still glad that I bought it. All I've added were a locking bed cover, a bed mat and dash cam. I regularly get 22+ MPG, even with the lousy Long Island traffic. Acceleration from a standing stop and from 60 to 70, is great, it can handle highway traffic with ease and comfort.
Now when I see a Maverick on the road, I'm glad that I found and bought this Ranger.
