I can't speak to the legality of making something road worthy but I feel pretty confident I could get complete powertrains shipped to the States for any conversions someone would like to undertake.

I appreciate the clarification. I'm just a car guy living abroad. While I was shopping for a truck of my own I realized how many cool Ranger-specific things there were for sale here. Thought I could help all of the Ranger owners out, not just 6gen.

Yeah. This truck has 150k kms on it but the asking price is only $14k. It's a 2.2L turbo diesel with automatic.

Here in Bangkok I'm paying 41.54thb per liter for 95 gasahol. That comes out to about $4.66/gal. Luckily my daily beater gets between 45-52mpg. Also, the government here will put caps on gas price hikes and help subsidize costs to keep it more affordable.
