Just a reminder, 2024 Q1 sales was very low due to delays in getting the truck to the dealership.
2024 Q1 didn't have any Rangers on the lot. 23MY was almost sold out and 24MY was delayed in part due to the strike. So last year YTD sales numbers where lower then normal.
The Bronco filter was a direct fit. I haven't cleaned the cabin filter yet. I normally clean KN air filters letting them dry over night and oil/reinstall the next morning.

I purchased one similar for my Mazda CX50. I didn't like it because the mounting shaft was too long so the plate sat about an inch plus away from the bumper.
I am just guessing here, but the reason the engine restarts after 10 seconds is to keep your a/c at the set temp. Test by turning off your a/c at the next light and see if the engine remains off.
I'm close to 10k miles so far. I recently recorded about 22-24 mpg for a 6k mile cross country trip with my 4x4 Lariat. As others have said, get past the break-in and mileage will improve. I too use only full synthetic oil. I'll be changing my oil for the 3rd time next week.
During the trip I had a payload of about 300lbs and two adults. I have towed a trailer totalling about 4k. That trip was only about 75 miles. Even small hills I'd see 8-12 mpg on the display, 20 mpg on the flat areas. I have no issues with the power of the 2.3L. The transmission sometimes...
Below you can see the MPG numbers for a cross country trip. I drove our 2024 Ranger Lariat 2.3L a total of 6400 miles over 13 days touching 19 states. We started the trip in NW Montana on state highways for the first couple hundred miles before hitting I-90 heading east. Most of MT and SD have...
Sad thing is I had the box sitting in my garage for almost two weeks while my truck was being shipped. As old as I am, you would think I would have learned to open and inspect upon arrivial.
Open your box to inspect and inventory. Mine shipped minus the rails. How could they miss them during packaging I don't know. Received one damaged so still waiting for second shipment.
I may have found a simple fix for the front plate on non-Raptor Rangers. I had unused 5" x 3" shelf brackets in my shop and mounted them below the radar sensor. There are two screws that are mounted to the steel bumper. The bracket is very close to the bumper when installed but is not...
My HPR looks different depending on the lighting. It really looks orange in the bright sunlight but is darker red in heavy overcast or low light situation. We really like it because it is a color you don't see every day like the Taco orange or all the different reds.
It appears the pictured front plate bracket is for Raptor only.
Took delivery of my Lairiat today. Only had a couple mintues looking at the front bumper, but there are drilling indents for mounting the flat bracket. Very disappointing for non Raptor owners.
I'll get a better look at it...
