  2. US Ranger Raptor Spied Uncovered!? Side by Side Look vs. Bronco Raptor

Not a fan of the grill either. Letters are out of proportion to the size of the truck
  3. Any US 6G Hopefuls Drooling Over Aussie Options?

I fully expect the 2.7l will be an option in the Ranger. It's available in the Bronco, so the parts will already be on the shelf. Ford won't let GM claim "best in class" power, when their 2.7l has already been engineered to fit.
  4. 2023 Volkswagen Amarok Truck Official Reveal Set For July 7

I would love this truck to come to NA, although I only give that about a 2% chance of happening. Never hurts to have another option. Although VW has a knack for making the front of their vehicles extremely bland, I like the rest of the sheet metal on the trucks in their teaser shots.
  5. New Wildtrek Driving Review

Agreed. I'm 99.9% confident there will be no Wildtrak in NA....ever. I'm 50/50 if Ford will have a Tremor version. If there's a 2.7l Tremor option, then that's the route I'll go. I wanted a Raptor, but realistically, I could put a crap load of $$ into a Tremor or Lariat with the money...
  6. Ranger Raptor walkaround video. Driver and passenger cup holder thoughts?

Well, that's 2 against 1 now. :) I've never found much use for the cup holders in the door. I'd use the dash ones. Couldn't agree more. At least Ford is integrating them into the dash. Not sure why the glued on Ipad look is so popular with designers these days. Hopefully that fad runs...
  7. Ranger Raptor walkaround video. Driver and passenger cup holder thoughts?

I think the extra hidden cup holders are great. Waaaayyyyyy better than having them in the lower door panel like the current gen. Good video. I'm sure there are others, but this is the first I've seen that shows everything. Ford did a great job on the sheet metal of this Raptor. Not at all...
  8. New Ranger Competition from GMC

I agree completely. If GMC would have had the AT4x for the current model, I would have bought one. I personally think the Canyon (exterior wise) is the best looking midsize currently out. There has been some debate whether Ford will offer the 2.7l in the Ranger. I've never doubted it, and...
  9. Ford Ditching some options to get the vehicles OTD.

I hear ya. I'd get a PHEV Ranger in a heartbeat (after ADM's fade away), if it has the HP/TQ that's been tossed around. I'm pretty flexible motor wise though. ICE, PHEV, EV; doesn't really matter. I'm lucky enough that the I don't have any constraints that prevent me from using one platform...
  10. 2022-2023 Ranger Raptor World Premiere! Wallpapers, Video & Specs

Your persistence in wanting the SC/longbox has not gone unnoticed....(at least by me). I do the same thing regarding interior options; hoping someone from Ford notices. :like: I will say, that despite the longbox being an option I would not purchase, I do think Ford would be missing out on a...
  11. 2023 Ranger Raptor exhaust sound / note -- revving video

Not to burst your bubble, but it's tough to get excited about when you're raised on V8's.
  12. RANGER RAPTOR AND NEXT GEN RANGER COMING TO THE US IN 2023 CONFIRMED BY JIM FARLEY.

I sent Ford an email a few years back about the ADM being charged on the F150 Raptors. This is the response: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: FOC Tier 1 Email - English <[email protected]> Sent: May 8, 2018 4:26 AM To: Subject: Fordof...
  13. Ford Ditching some options to get the vehicles OTD.

I am soooo glad I'm not in need of a new vehicle right now. I really feel for those that are. I bought my 2019 Ranger only to hold me over until the new ones came out. Not really a hardship if I have to wait a couple more years for things to settle down.
  14. Spied: Ranger Raptor Undisguised In Gray

I think it's an awesome looking truck. The only thing I would change is the grill. I know that seems ass backwards, as everyone and their dog seems to want the raptor grill for their current Ranger, but the letters just look too big, and stick out too far. The proportions just don't look...
  15. 2022-2023 Ranger Raptor World Premiere! Wallpapers, Video & Specs

At least in the west coast of Canada it was. I waited several years for the ADM to go away on the Raptor and finally gave up. Hopefully the ADM won't last long on the RR, as there will be other options available. The classiest company move I've witnessed is when Jaguar brought out the F-Pace...
  16. RANGER RAPTOR AND NEXT GEN RANGER COMING TO THE US IN 2023 CONFIRMED BY JIM FARLEY.

I guess only time will tell. I agree the 2.3 is very competitive. Earlier I was anxiously waiting for the 2.7, but the more I drive my Ranger, the less I really care if I can get the 2.7 or not.
  17. 2022-2023 Ranger Raptor World Premiere! Wallpapers, Video & Specs

This is my plan. My 2019 was always just a place holder until the new trucks come out. I won't pay ADM though and I'm willing to wait a year or two longer for the supply shortages to work their way out. However, if the RR ends up being like it's big brother and ADM is the norm forever, then...
  18. RANGER RAPTOR AND NEXT GEN RANGER COMING TO THE US IN 2023 CONFIRMED BY JIM FARLEY.

True, but the engines available back in the previous Rangers wouldn't have enough power for a full size truck. Ford would not redesign the front of the trucks to accept a V6, just for the Raptor. Also, if Ford sticks only with the 2.3l, then the upcoming twins at GM will have the most powerful...
  19. RANGER RAPTOR AND NEXT GEN RANGER COMING TO THE US IN 2023 CONFIRMED BY JIM FARLEY.

No offence, but why is this even a doubt? It's in the Bronco. Ranger and Bronco share the same underpinnings and the Ranger's sheet metal was redesigned to accept a V6. The biggest surprise will be if Ford doesn't add the 2.7 to the option list.
  20. Why are you waiting for a 2023 Ranger instead of buying a current model mid-size truck?

Completely agree. I had thought the Bronco Raptor would have come with body panels closer to the factory race Bronco. I didn't necessarily expect them to completely cover the tires with the body panels, but I certainly didn't expect them to just slap on some giant plastic flares. Those flares...
