That puts the bulge of the spring outward making it hit the control arm at full droop. I had a fab tech level which required springs to be rotated and the control arm rested on the coil. Switched it to a bajasrule level and factory spring orientation and have 0 issues with the spring hitting at...

Did you rotate your spring? Look at my posts I have wear marks on the shock boot from them rubbing one side of the shock boot. I can see if the springs were rotated you would then rub on the control arm at full droop.

When you were installing did you notice wear on the boot covering the shock shaft from the coils rubbing? I installed the same level last week and had holes on the shock boot when I went to install it.

I hope that’s the case. I do have to say that I have looked at unrelated posts that have suspension issues and have seen similar tolerances between the coil and boot with some looking like they were fully touching. Hopefully this isn’t an issue with ranger raptors moving forward.

Posted this a few days ago on Facebook. Anyone else have this issue where the coil sprint are rubbing holes in the shock shaft boot? Only 1200 miles. Dealer ordered new boots and is going to try and reposition spring.

Recently started having this noise upon start up and when shutting the truck off. Mostly with the heater turned up but happens without heat on too. Any thoughts going in for 5k service next weekend.
