That's exactly what happened with me. I took the one allocation the dealership had. We spec'd it out to what I wanted and, to my surprise, I got an email directly from Ford two days later. I got the notification for my build date of March 25th, two weeks after that.

One dealer was trying to charge $10k over MSRP and another was taking the highest bidder in my area ?I was fortunate to find a dealer that charged no markup. Took the one allocation for that dealership, got confirmation from Ford two days later that they had the order and got a build date two...

My build date is also March 25th. Azure Grey with sprayed bedliner.
