Mine did this when I was using adaptive cruise control and the front sensor had its "front sensor blocked" error. It slammed on the breaks doing 80 to cut the cruise control and then it fully disabled ACC due to the sensor issue. And that's with them disabled in settings. Late 2024 model.
In the driver assist settings you can turn off the front parking sensors. This eliminates the front approach camera and the notification beeps. Just an FYI.
Had a new one happen on Sunday. I was using adaptive cruise control during a 3 hour road trip and even with the sensors turned off I got a sensor blocked error which locked me out of using adaptive cc. I had to fumble with the driver settings while driving to change it over to normal cruise...
Decided to turn my front sensors back on as they've been off since I picked the truck up last Nov. I didn't even make it out of the driveway before it started with the blocked sensor error, so back off they went. The new 2025 model doesn't have the two front side sensors that the 2024 model has...
Runnung stock KO3s with the Ford performance Method 703s (beadgrips). I was just there in June running 14 PSI doing multiple days of hot laps, jumping, drag racing, and test hill. I did not debead or have a single worry the whole trip.
The only thing to keep an eye on is the Trans and oil...
Appreciate the follow up! Happy to hear on the performance bump over the ProCal tune. This gives me even more of a reason for the other supporting power mods as I wasn't interested in the ECU swaps. ?
Not sure this is true. Mine auto engaged (24MY) when I parked on a sand dune to take pictures. It was facing down the hill at a pretty decent degree and I actually fumbled for a second when it didn't go anywhere when I was in drive. ?
Finally was able to get the truck out to the dunes and "test" everything out. The Ranger somehow manages to look like a baby truck while also being the heaviest in that picture.
Had the same thing happen here.
I took delivery in November and the windshield had a terrible distortion on the passenger side. Got it replaced under warranty and the new one also has distortion in the same spot just a lot less and bearable. I just decided to accept the fact that Ford is using...
I'm pretty sure you can turn off just the front parking sensors as I had to do this very thing when I took delivery back in Nov (MY24). My rear still alert me and I still get the occasional front sensor fault even with them turned off.
The sensor is still on back order according to my dealer. ?
Just got mine done today. Driver side was easier for me at 30-45 mins. Went through the fender liner and loosened the top three fendor bolts.
As for the passenger side, I attempted to go through the fender liner as well, but as I'm missing part of my middle finger tip on the left, I couldn't...
Looking forward to the install videos as I just got my "Your order has cleared customs" notification today.
I'll also add, our DRLs turn off when using the turn signal, (only the side that is actively blinking) and I'll be looking to change this in forscan. Definitely appreciate all of the...
Mine had this exact issue on the same side. Took the truck in for warranty work and the dealership confirmed that it was a bad sensor. They are currently on backorder, so I just turned my front sensors off for now.
Jumping in here.
Fortunately/unfortunately I had the tune installed before I took delivery of my RR. It had 36 miles showing 6.7 MPG. I've got just under 1500 on it now and it's at 14.0 combined. Cruise control at highway speeds, 70-75 going to Canada land, it gets no more than 17 in normal...
