Isn't Accessport "resellable" (i.e. not locked to a specific VIN/ECU) after Cobb tune is removed? At least that's how it worked with Subaru and BMW back in the days.
I'm stuck with FP Procal for now, but I'll definitely explore Cobb Accessport once my warranty ends.
My not-so-stock RR has 528mm front and 569mm rear. (Only mods are 300lb on the truck bed for RTT, rack, and retractable tonneau cover). I highly doubt i got 40mm and 70mm sags for front and rear, respectfully, from 300lb of truck bed weight. It seems like either US RR might have different...
Thanks for sharing the detailed pictures and your experience. I also got these skids and waiting for the delivery. It definitely sounds like it won't be a straight up 10 min bolt-on installation. lol
I'm hoping my metal cutting snip is strong enough to cut the bolt flag.
Is there significant loss of ground clearance with RCI skids? It seems like engine skid is about an inch lower and transmission skid is another inch lower. In my experience, its usually the front cross members are the culprit.
In the US market, Eibach's HD rear springs will be closest optiont for you (part# E30-35-066-02-02). Per Eibach, their HD rear springs have 250lb/in compared to 194 lb/in stock springs.
It'll be 99.999% likely that the weight for 35x11.5R17 will be higher than 49 lb.
59lb is much more realistic, and I'll be very happy with that weight.
Cant wait!!!!:clap: Based on the CAD, it seems like the drawer will clear my retractable bed cover’s storage bin.
Btw, whats the height of the drawer? Also surprise us with a big intro discount for the forum members.
I like how slider is mounted low, practically much lower than Decked Cargoglide.
Is it possible to have a slide without side walls? That will allow to use “empty” spaces between slide and drawer (or another slide) by giving more mounting options to the end users.
Also, what would be the rough...
Awesome! Glad to hear that RCI is working on Raptor variations!
Plus it seems like Ford did spend some time and materials to reinforce frames for Raptors over regular Rangers. :like:
Finally, RCI released a proper frame-mount rock slider for the 6th gen Ranger… but unfortunately, it doesn’t fit the Raptor trim. Really hoping they bring out a Raptor-specific version soon.
I’ve had great experiences with RCI in the past—my 5th gen 4Runner ran their full aluminum RCI skids and...
for those who already lifted and got alignment: how much castor did you get? In seems like stock height will give about 3-4 deg.
While castor has little impact during offroading, it does impact highway stability and tire clearance.
