My first car (which I still own), was a 1973 Mercury Capri - this is what is looked like back in the mid 80's (after I painted it - it was a pea green when I bought it):
And this is what it looks like today, after a restoration about 10 years ago:
My 2019 is my fourth Ranger - I had a 2000...
The first one hurts the most, but it is a truck after all, and if you use it as a truck, it is going to get scratched and dinged.
I did my first boo boo after having it for 2 days. But after 11 months, it still looks really good I think. Only a few bumps and bruises.
Thanks to @OregonRanger , I now have running boards on my truck!
So far, I'm liking them. For a net investment of a few hours time and about $50 in bolts to attach them, I'm pretty happy. I'd call it a win/win.

The magnetic flares/wheel well trim is magnetic with the sport package - the sport package is very popular, so you see a lot with the magnetic trim. Mine is Platinum white with no sport package and has body color trim around the wheels.
Guys my age come up to me and say "I used to have one of those - man it was fun. I wish I had never sold it". Then I get "kids" (anyone under 30) come up and can't figure out what it is - they've never seen one before.
There is a whole thread talking about this topic. Last I knew the process worked, but it threw a code in FORScan - no CEL or any other issues, but it was kind of odd.
Great interview - for mileage did you adjust the computer to the new tires? If not, your speedo would be off and also your mileage if you are just relying on the truck to compute it. It does seem a bit low.
