Looks like new Tacoma (especially with the hybrid engine) will blow Ranger sales all over again. I don't think Toyota has any competition from Ford at all. Ford really screwed up the US market...no PHEV, no Tremor trim, and zero hybrid options. And the Raptor is overkill for a lot of customers...

I'd still buy the new Tacoma mainly for the hybrid engine. I'm in CA and $6 gallon gas price is tough to swallow. And one of the things I love about my Tremor ...21mpg combined with cheap gas.
