The Cobb intercooler did not require the front active shutters to be removed only the rear "floppy" ones Which were attached to the factory intercooler. The Cobb installation was quite simple actually.
I have the FP tune on my raptor. I just installed a Cobb intercooler and dropped almost 2 miles per gallon. (It went from 16 to 14). Does something need to be reset.. what am I missing? I assumed my mileage would get better from all that I've read on this forum.
I have the procal tuner in hand but have been waiting to break the truck in a bit. I now have 1600 miles and a dealership that will do the install. Im Anxious to see any positive input from this forum. I also suggest ignoring AlpineBike, as I've not read a single positive post yet from him.
Excellent thread CherryCoke! I bought the tune at lethal performance and have not had it installed yet, but that's not the question. I too am curious how much to expect an installer to charge and how long it might take. I look forward to some helpful responses from those out there that have...
Got mine today from lethal performance. Quite excited to get it installed but I only have 600 miles on my Raptor so I am waiting a bit. Any suggestions on how long I should wait?
I had the exact same thing this morning. Red light on the fob flashed twice. Use my second fob and it worked fine. Tried the first fob an hour later and seems to work fine.
