Ya, just me with the snowmobile trailer behind on a snowy road, not much I could do. Little bit of glass on passenger seat, so good thing no one was there...., it was a hell of a bang, lol
Picked her up with new glass today, all good.
Same, 5G went off all the time, this one not so much. I've tested it a few times when coming up behind someone turning right, the 5G would have went nuts, Ive got this one to go off, but way less sensitive then the 2019.
In case anyone is wondering, Yes!, you can use 5g running boards on your 6G Ranger. I have the set that I briefly had on my 2019 Lariat on my 24 XLT now, bolted right up.
I dont care for running boards, but I drive a fair bit of gravel and if you dont want to watch you paint disappear from...
Happens every now and then with me as well, had the truck since April and at first I thought it was only AA, but it does it occasionally on the Ford screen as well. No fix, other than I saw somewhere that if you hit the phone disconnect button on the screen, then connect again it stops the...
I dont think there is any change in fuel milage, I change the tires, but stayed with stock size for now, so it should be fine. I dont track milage that much, but I will say its better than my 2019 was with the same lift and one size up tires, but I also retired, so Im sure not doing that...
Just a quick update, I loaded the new version today and after asking me if I wanted to use the old 3.0L profile it came up and recognized the truck as a 2.3L, so all good now. I enabled "silent mode" which I like on my 5G for camping, so all the lights don't come on when you open doors etc. as...
I got rid of the chime with key in, door open etc, but havent experimented any further. Would like to do Nav. on the fly like I did in my 2019 as well.
Heres the DR(far from a dirt bike, I know) in the back of my 2019, so should be the same as 6g. With my 6 foot nissan frontier I could close the tailgate with the bike corner to corner, but not gonna work on the Ranger. Havent had one in my 24 yet.
Why I "trailered" it :)
I have done some experimenting and removed the Doo-doo-doo chimes from the key in door open and it worked fine. Haven't went any further than that, but it appears to work fine, the only odd thing I'd that it thinks its 3 liter engine.
Unlike my 5G this tailgate ain't coming off without a fight, between the dampener and the torsion spring, the whole tailgate is bolted on, not easy to remove by the looks of it.
Not a raptor, but I got rid of the doo, doo, doo chime with the door open etc. still early days, so I didnt go any further, but may try some more shortly. Windows trail version.
Well, I finally got out for a test tow before next weekends camping and Id say thats about the right amount of lift for me, she sits pretty much even with the A-frame in tow. Looks like a bit of squat in the pic, but shes pretty much bang on, tongue weight +/- 400lbs
Not likely available over here, but I saw this Aussie video if you wanna hack up the tailgate to get some storage and a flat panel, not for me, but you know
Yes, alignment done, it was definitely necessary, you could visually see that the camber was off. As you said not a lot on a small level(ended up closer to 1.5") but was needed none the less.
