I installed several dozen on off switches for fleet customers and private citizens, prior to passenger detection systems were developed. You can search Google for “Airbag on off switch” and find out where you can get one. There are laws in Canada and the US regarding disabling airbags legally...
I decided to add a retractable bed step using a modified Tacoma step, which was the cheapest ($117cdn)on Amazon. Made a bracket using 3”x5” x 1/4” x 6” long angle iron. Only drilled one hole in the hitch bracket frame. There is an oval through hole where a electrical connector clips in on the...
My bed lamps only come on with the dash switch also. Duh Ford!

The question is, why does Ford NOT provide a part to correct an incomplete system?
Just picked up a 24 XLT Sport with the OPTIONAL factory tow package. I noticed there is no factory TBC installed. I saw an FX4 XLT THAT HAS THE TBC to the right of the ignition key switch. (Pic attached)
Anyone have info on this missing trailer safety device? No factory or aftermarket controller...
