Thanks for reaching out… these say L and R but I’ll look at swapping to see if that helps at all. The interesting thing is that the entire brake line on the other side of the frame is solid the whole way up and across the frame. Were your lines flexible other than the small part from the bracket...
I took the seat out to sound deaden the back wall and made a video that might be helpful for you. Back bolts to the brackets that bolt to the floor/frame of the truck, the main brackets are part of the bottom part if I remember correctly to pivot up, not sure you could
Keep the back without...
Thanks brother! That’s hilarious about the officer comment. There are a few good ones out there but I have met my fair share of jack wagons along the way as well, I always say I learn as much or more from the bad ones as I do from the good ones, a lot of what not to do. The sound deadening will...
I have gone through over 20 vehicles in the past 16 years and always look at what else is better until I got the ranger raptor. I love this truck and I don’t consider selling it for something else and honestly haven’t even looked. I love this thing!
I don’t think those would be any better than regular needle nose pliers. I used an extended pair of needle nose and a pair of needle nose vice grips to hold things in place. The ones in the photo might be tougher to get into the small spaces since the tips bend in and require being open wider...
I was careful with the wiring cli but I used a pair of needle nose pliers to get it off and it marred the plastic a bit but I avoided pulling the old wiring off the board. I found that the wiring is just long enough to rest the fins of the wiring harness on the side of the fender to give it some...
i got my first 5 oil changes for free and haven't used them all yet but every time i have gone in, i specify i want full synthetic and i just pay the difference in the oil cost (usually about 30 bucks if i remember correctly). If you change every 5k miles, you should be fine with synthetic...
very cool... if you install a cold air intake and a bigger intercooler you may need to dyno it and get a new sticker... maybe the 465 or 475! Those look really good. probably a dumb question, but it came with two stickers for either side, right?
Great info, thank you so much, that makes way more sense about the lines being up on the frame and not the axle and I think my little battery freaky tire inflator will be perfect for this! I was wondering about what would happen if you have it go too high and I figured it would throw off the...
The digital manual is absolute garbage with regards to searching. These are the recommended oils and if you search the number it recommends synthetic blend SP or full synthetic FS. Kind of crazy that they don’t actually say synthetic but they saved a few bucks by not providing a real manual… I’m...
Awesome point and that totally slipped my mind. They went past the manufacturer recommended conventional oil change limit on this I would think, or even if their recommendation is 10k, growing up conventional oil was changed every 3,000 to stay safe. Thanks for pointing that out!
great minds think alike. the other parts of the kit do look pretty nice but for the price i dont mind hooking up my own pressure gauge and using my existing compressor just like you! Cheers.
i do love that indicarbon intake. the fact that the output is seperated works great with the flexible pipes but if you go to solid pipes will they fit with the front and back placement of the outputs of the filter box?
Awesome... let me know how the install goes... looks pretty straight forward, just gotta think thru the line placement. I didnt buy any of the additional kits. i plan to just use a small dewalt compressor that uses my 20 volt batteries to pump up the airbags as required, and if i need to pull...
I just ordered the AAA kit and will be installing it when it gets here in early/mid June. My daughters really want me to be able to pull a 2 horse trailer and that just aint gonna happen with the ranger raptor without some sort of additional support and these airbags seem like the perfect...
