I'm right there with you. I live in Colorado as well. Colorado mountain driving is different than pretty much anywhere. Driving on a road that climbs several thousand feet in elevation in just a few miles requires as much horsepower as you can get.
@Donnie B where did you get the ceramic...
Love that F-100 reference. When I was a kid back in the 80s, my dad had an F-100. IMHO, that was the perfect size truck. Big enough to haul gear to a camping site, small enough to drive around the city, with enough power to have a little fun. I learned to drive in that truck. Maybe I'll get...
Typically, drive shafts require custom fabrication based on measurements taken from your truck.
It is common to need a custom drive shaft after installing lift kits on trucks or in high-performance street racers; however, there are too many variables to make a mail-order custom drive shaft...
Are you buying a topper or just need to tap into the wiring? Sorry, I am not certain. If buying a topper, where are you buying it from and does it come with the needed wiring?
The topper is a few hundred pounds, I don't know exactly how much.
It removed some of the rake, for sure. Yes, C-clamps are used to hold it down, four total.
This is my 3rd ARE topper on my 3rd truck. You want to add this before any suspension work if you want to level things out.
I've...
I've had the truck for a month now.
So far, I've added WeatherTech floor mats, which are a must, LineX in the bed, and tinted windows.
This week, I added an A.R.E. Z2 topper.
Love the topper with the keyless entry. I can unlock the topper with my truck key fob.
Next up is a roof rack...
Absolutely love it. Granted, I'm only 1,000 miles in. I have no concerns over the longevity, given it is used in so many Ford vehicles. It was the deciding factor for me. I considered the Tacoma, but I will not buy a 4-cylinder engine for a truck. It is very smooth, and I love the acceleration.
One single piece, not like the ADD (Active Desert Designs) model, is a horrible design.
I think the full rows of cutouts are important, so you have maximum flexibility in mounting accessories.
Builtright notified me they will release a Molly Panel for the 24+ in June. I will be waiting for that.
I don't like the ADD design because it is a two-piece panel that requires drilling two holes into the inside of your bed.
Agreed. It is strange, but the Ranger sales are picking up, so I expect there to be more soon.
The ADD panels are for the Ranger Raptor, but I am 90% sure the inside of the bed of the Raptor Ranger is the same as the Ranger, but I wouldn't want to order and have problems returning if they...
