Built a bracket for the Garmin PowerSwitch. Will probably mount it on top of the engine bay fusebox.

Have to imagine it’s drawing more hot air through the top than cold air through the snorkel. Can the filter be changed through the top without disassembling a bunch of stuff?

Stock one is definitely oiled unless you somehow ordered it with a different filter (which I’m trying to do).

Is the top really open or does the hood somehow “seal” it. Anyone know how to order w the dry filter? Seems like the normal order comes with an oiled filter which I don’t want. Asked K&N and they haven’t responded. Anyone know the part number for the compatible dry filter?

I think that just means the intake is the choke point and not the filter. The 68% improvement in the filter (if it’s even true) isn’t limited by intake piping. You aren’t going to get anywhere near that improvement if the intake piping is the limiting factor, and without upgrading the intake...

Very surprising these fit. Some people even get rubbing with 285/70. Would love to try it on my setup.

FWIW - S&B told me the 2.3L intake would probably be ready in 8 weeks or so.

Reached out to Stedi and while they don't have these in the US they would ship one. Probably gets quite expensive, but Im definitely considering it. Would most likely use the Stedi mounts but Morimoto lights as thats what I'm running elsewhere. Thanks again for pointing out this option! Best...

Can you give us more detailed specs on the wheel (size and offset) and tire (size)? Do you still have crash bars? Pretty shocking that these would fit.
