Has anyone installed the Ford Performance Aux Switches for a 2025 XLT? The instructions - hieroglyphs - are not particularly helpful. Ford is trying to get me to buy the factory shop manual. I’m stuck on step 12, no idea where the violet A5 male connector goes. Thanks in advance!

It’s the spare wheel mounting plate carrier (BK21-1402-AA). I can’t believe it’s in this bad of shape, I’ve only got 8k miles on the vehicle. Is this something I should bother replacing? The spare sure doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere.
