Every car/truck I've ever bought I switched to full synthetic oil.
I have had great luck with Ford cars and trucks and believe it is due to taking the best care of them.
So, yes, I use for Full synthetic on my Ranger too.
If in the original thinking in Ford trucks was F-100/F-150 a 1/2 ton
A F-250 was a 3/4 ton
A F-350 was a ton
With the current payload of a Ranger at 1800 lbs.
Would that make a Ranger a
"R-250"?
Just saying.....:)
Just picked up a 2025 XLT Desert Sand and noticed the top rail behind cab has no trim.
Got a great price so didn't really care. So just for peace of mind - I did some research and even found a good pic of a White Raptor that doesn't have a cap on the top rail behind the cab either. So all is good.
...with my Ford points.
It paid for the whole thing.
Waiting for shipment to arrive.
One of these:
I may eventually get a spray in liner but this will do for now.
After going through an order process (Several times), web searching for over a week or so, and visiting many dealerships - I landed a mini "Landman"
I'm real happy with it and had to drive home an hour and a half - then up the mountain to home.
Feels great and rides real nice.
I'm kind of...
I have been looking for a set of All Terrains that have very good ratings and stumbled on these.
Score well and look pretty good to me.
I live in the mountains (snow) and travel dirt and gravel roads but also quite a bit of
travel 'on the road'. This appears to be a good compromise.
Just for fun I was trying to see what a lifted Desert Sand would look like.
So I photo shopped a stock model to sit up in the front.
It looks like - or reminds me of - a Mini Landman Truck.
Are there any issues with going to a 2.5" on the front... UCAs, angle??
Or should I go with a 2" instead.
Not putting huge tires (probably 265 70 17's) - just want more clearance up front.
