Finally found some in-channel vent visors. Found them on Amazon and they were for a decent price. Hopefully they will hold up well. Super easy to install as well.
Did some heavy hauling today. Full pallet of rubber mulch, 50 bags. It definitely made my truck sit lower but it handled it with no problem. These trucks can definitely haul heavy loads, though I would not be doing it everyday.
I have the factory running boards on my Lariat but didn't like how low they hung down. I had a friend cut out 2" from the mounts and weld them back together. I think they look much better. They now tuck up tighter to the bottom of the body. Everything bolted back together with no misalignment...
All,
Took my 24' Lariat FX4 on a short road trip this summer. When I left my truck had just a little more than 2k miles on it. When I finished it was a little over 8200 miles. I averaged 24.5 mpg for the trip. The high temp I hit was 113° in central Texas and a low of 49° in Cody, WY. I had...
I still have the factory running boards on my lariat and am thinkingof removingthem. Anyone decide to remove them? I do have the front mud guards. Any inputs? Pro's & Cons of removing them?
All, I have a 24 Lariat. Just wanting to know something. I thought the rear turn lamps and backup bulbs were LED. I found out today they are not. Did Ford change over to incandescent bulbs in all the Rangers? My 19 XLT had LEDs from the factory for the rear signals and backup bulbs.
Got my Motorcraft mud flaps for the front of my Ranger today and decided to install them right away. Living on a gravel driveway can wreck havoc on the rocker panels. These have to be one of the easiest installs to do.
All you need is a small Phillips screwdriver and a plastic body panel screw...
Finally got bed lined this morning. Took about 3 hrs total. It's the mid grade with the enhanced uv protection. It was... not cheap. But you pay for what you get. They sprayed up under the side rails and took the lights out, tonneau side rails out and plugged all the threaded holes. I did ask...
I'm studying for my Ham Radio certificate. Anyone mounted a Ham radio in their truck yet?
I had GMRS in my Bronco but am wanting to move up in capability.
I have the engine cover for my Ranger but don't have the mounting nuts and bolts. Does anyone know the sizes I need to get. Any help would be appreciated. TIA
I'm supposed to get my truck Line-xed this month. It's a toss up between it and a bed rug. I won't be doing a lot of hauling.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
TIA
Installed my tonneau cover that I got with my Ford Pass points. I had to pay $219 after using all of my points. The cover is normally $647. This cover is the low profile one. It is very easy to install since you use the factory mounting points on inside of the bedrails. It has adjusters at the...
Finally did my 1st mod to Peepers. This mod come from the heart. My wife passed away from lymphoma Nov 2nd of 2023. She fought for a long almost 2.5 yrs against it. I don't wish lymphoma or cancer on anyone. It robs families of the future. My beautiful wife was my world along with our boys.
I've been a member on the 5g site for a few years but sold my 2019 and bought a 2024 Bronco. Today the truck I initially ordered arrived at the dealership. It's a 2024 Lariat FX4. So bye bye Bronco. I have always had trucks and at times the Bronco felt too big.
So now it will be time to start...
