Have to say as frustrating, and disapointing as this is in a brand new truck my local Ford dealer service department has been awesome with troubleshooting and then replacing both transmissions and returning my truck on the 3 rd day...
Still finishing but turned out alright for a first project like this.
Made out of awning fabric with 2" aluminum flat for support in the center.
2" velcro at cab end and snap buttons on tailgate and sides. If count what my time is worth plus $67 materials it would have been cheaper to buy one...
A week after picking up my truck with a new transmission installed I am again feeling the transmission clunking into 3rd gear and then into 1st? Same issues that warranty covered to replace. Guess I need to book it in to diagnose again.

Took my 2024 XLT Ranger (delivered in May)in to my local ford service center to have them check
1) rough transmission issues (4th down to 3rd down to 2nd and very rough change down into 1st when stopping)
2) Cold starts bogging out
3) Also RPM sticking at 3500-4000 rpm when take foot off...
