I think the quality of the dealer makes all the difference in the world. I brought my truck (2025 2.7L Lariat) in for a routine scheduled service and got all three then outstanding recall items resolved in about 4 hrs. When I made the service appointment, they delayed it by a day to ensure all...
I can say that the hitch carrier is much easier and safer than using a ramp when loading/unloading solo.
I looked up the maximum tongue weight for a 2025 Ford Ranger (Non Raptor) is 750lbs. For Raptor, 550lbs. So if you don’t have a Raptor you should be fine. For Raptor, it might be kind...
All excellent advice! Thanks All!
The Ranger actually handles much better in the rain in 2WD than my F150 did, and unless I am being intentionally agressive with the throttle around turns the truck sticks to the road really well. The only time I have had it in 4WD on pavement is in an absolute...
My old F150 had an "A" (All wheel drive) mode that was great for driving on wet pavement to prevent the back end from breaking loose in the rain (4H was more off road). My 2025 Ranger Lariat 2.7L FX4 has only 2WD, 4H, 4L, and "Slippery Mode". I really don't like the "Slippery Mode", because...
Came from a 2015 F-150 Lariat to a ‘25 Ranger Lariat 2.7L. Love the truck, it is a little smaller, but honestly, I haven’t run into any issues with space or hauling capacity.
the Ranger rides much better than the 150 and is much, much easier to handle parking and in tight spaces.
Welcome to California, so pay up!
High reg fees, Super High Gas Tax ($1.50/gal) . . . High Bridge Tolls . . . And we still have crappy roads.
It’s a great place to live if you can afford it!
I went from a 2015 F150 Lariat to the 2025 Ranger Lariat 2.7L FX4. I LOVE this truck!!! It is excellent for around the town driving, long distance highway driving and rural unpaved road driving (I do all three). Gets 24mpg highway, 18city. The Lariat meets or exceeds all my needs.
I had the same issue when a rear passenger right side clipped into the center receptacle. I normally keep all unoccupied seats with buckles fastened - - eliminates seat belt rattling against the pillars.
About 4 weeks from build date to delivery to me. I had an extra 2 weeks for installation of spray in bed liner and tonneau cover; those add one take a week or two extra. After ship notice it was two weeks.
I have a ‘25 Lariat 2.7L with the FX4 package and love the truck. I do a lot of highway and dirt road driving and the Lariat is really comfortable for both. Recent 3,000 mile round trip between MT and CA averaged 24mpg on 87 gas.
Lariat has higher towing and payload capacity so I am told...
I have the arm rest cover and it works great . . . It collects my dog’s dirty footprints and washes off easily. The fit is perfect - hard to tell that it is not stock.
