I mounted some up a while back as well. Mines set up with a level kit, a couple sizes bigger than stock tires and some +10 offset fuel wheels. These were the wider version from the Ford catalogue.
I washed mine for the time since I bought it.... Only been like 5 months. ? Turned out spectacular. Lol
Wash, claybar, polish, seal and window treatments. ?
I switched from the 17" fx4 tires and wheels (56lbs) to some 18" fuel wheels and some 275/65/18.. (little over 2" bigger than stock and 18lbs heavier at 74lbs). I was getting about 24 mpg combined. With the new setup, after going to a better oil and an s&b performance filter over the last...
Thanks!! I like to think so! Been praying for a nice snow storm but been waaaay to warm for that. So it's just rain!
I've added the universal rekgen mudflaps since then... They imo don't look bad and will keep all the shit and rocks off my door handles!!
Look at diode dynamics ranger raptor fogs... I just bought some h11 yellow fogs from them cause everywhere said the 24 ranger XLT had bulbs. I get them, get under there to put them in.. nope. Enclosed adjustable pods with a harness going into the back. So now I'm looking into the yellow pods on...
I recieved my universal rekgen mudflaps and the led yellow fogs from diodedynamics today. I shall get to work on a template and figure out how I can mount these flaps, and install the fog lights this weekend hopefully!
I was going to look into this when I put the diodedynamic yellow fog bulbs in probably this weekend. The housings in the Ranger look the same as the ones you get with the kit.... So I just ordered the bulbs on their site. When I put them in I'll look into aiming them a bit higher, whether the...
No, from the looks of it all the Rangers and Broncos share the same air filters.
Seems to pep up a little quicker and the gas mileage may or may not have gotten a bit better. Not sure on that tho. Have to drive more!
So y'all probably knew this, but this here is the S&B dry performance filter for the 2.7 Bronco. It's sitting beside the stock filter from the 2.3 Ranger..... The S&B now obviously has a new home. Lol
I thought it might rub on the driver side on full lock, but I don't hear anything. About 3/4 of an inch clearance everywhere else. Did not have to take out or do anything to the rear crash bars.
So got my new wheels and tires together last weekend and threw them on... Wheel is an 18x8.5. 10 offset, and the tires are a Goodyear Wrangler m+s.... 275/65/18. They are 77lbs as a combo. The factory wheels coming off were 59/lbs. So adding about 18lbs per corner.... They ride good and...
That's what I was hoping for. Mine did not read automatically. Tried to get them working, the scanner tool would not communicate with the truck for whatever reason. The shop worked on it for about an hr. May have to pop the sensors out of the factory wheels. Unless the trying to relearn screwed...
Installed the wheels yesterday! The tire sensors work, but could not get the programmer to communicate with the ranger....so have to come up with another idea to get rid of the tire sensors warning light. Mildly annoying.... But the wheels look good! So on to the pics.
