  1. 300lb rear springs - Eibach or ?

Hyper Co - 1" Rear Springs: https://www.hypercoils.com/shop/hyp-2y-05-02-01 Since these have the same spring rate as stock (194 lb/in), you will be right around stock height with 300-400lb in the bed. I need to find some time to install this spring.
  2. Need opinions on Baja Designs lights

My experience in aux lights have been mostly with Diode Dynamics and Baja Design. On my previous 4Runner, I went all-in with DD Yellow (SS3 Pro, SS5 Pro, SS1 Pro, SS40 light bar) to cover forward, side, and rear lighting. On my Ranger Raptor, I switched to BD Yellow (OnX6+ 30", Squadron Pro &...
  3. Ranger Raptor - GOAT: 1.5" F / 1.5" R Spacer Lift

Since these spacer lift kits are super high-tech suspension parts, I strongly discourage Raptor owners getting these $89 aluminum spacers (Made in PRC) sold in eBay. It only takes 3-4 days for shipping, which is too fast. lol  $89 - 1.5" Lift Spacers for Ranger Raptor *I have no...
  4. Geiser Front/Rear Springs: +1.5" Front/+1" Rear

New "balanced" stance looks great!! :like:
  5. My DIY Fabricated Custom Pod Light Install for Ranger Raptor

I really like the OP’s ingenuity in fabricating brackets to mount the SSC2s. Has anyone else mounted auxiliary lights in those locations? I’d much rather use that unused space than block the intercooler intake area near the radar sensor. I’m considering running Diode Dynamics SS6 (SAE Yellow...
  6. Rear King Springs on Ranger Raptor Review & Installed Photos

You should look into Eibach 500lb spring or Hyperco HD rear. They both will give about 1” lift with 300 pounds load. I believe they are slightly longer than stock with 25% higher rate (250 vs 194 lb/in)
  7. Surprising All-terrain tire comparison

This video is another video with click-bait title. It's poorly made with bunch of stitching stock videos and AI voice. No real info was found.
  8. Rear King Springs on Ranger Raptor Review & Installed Photos

Currently I have stock suspension, but I got these in line to be installed before my next summer overland trip. Front: 1.5" lift strut spacers Rear: Hyperco 1" lift spring (non-HD) + 0.5" lift strut spacers Tires: TBD (still debating between 34" vs 35")
  9. Rear King Springs on Ranger Raptor Review & Installed Photos

My ranger performed flawlessly in high speed Utah trails with about 600-700 pounds of stuffs in the truck bed. But, it constantly dragged its belly in Colorado's rocky mountain trails. As a reference, my 4runner with 2" lift and 33" would've cleared the same trails w/o touching its skids...
  10. Rear King Springs on Ranger Raptor Review & Installed Photos

How many miles are on your Raptor? A light bar and minor CoG shift shouldn’t be enough to cause 1.3" of front sag. Our trucks are known to have relatively soft front springs, and they can lose rate pretty quickly under load. Perhaps premature metal fatigue??
  11. Teaser, new wheels/tires Volk ZE40X and Baja Boss 295/70

Please do share the actual weight of the tire if you can measure. I'm super curious how 295/70R17 can be heavier than 315/70R17 and 35x12.50R17 on paper (72 lb vs 71 lb vs 69 lb, respectively).
  12. Installed Eibach Springs on Ranger Raptor (Before / After Height Measurements)

@El_Chuco I agree with your point on perch/spring lifts vs. strut spacers. If you’re planning to keep your RR bone stock, a strut spacer is probably the most straightforward solution. However, once you start carrying meaningful weight, the decision becomes much more complicated —especially in...
  13. Installed Eibach Springs on Ranger Raptor (Before / After Height Measurements)

Thank you for sharing!! how much castor did you get from the alignment? Also how much weight you are carrying in the back?? It seems like fronts are spot on the advertised lift height, and rears got slightly higher than 1.6” considering the topper on the bed. Im also considering Eibach combo...
  14. Front Fox Shocks' springs are off-centered

Gotcha. No noise for me, but I feel like my fronts are sagging without any extra weight on front axle. I measured 20.8" on the driver side and 21" on the passenger side which are almost 1.5" lower than factory height (per GOAT offroad).
  15. Front Fox Shocks' springs are off-centered

@superj Dust covers seem to be straight and are in-line with the shock shaft. @hsun85 that makes it 2 of us. It seems like "bowing" effect is greater on yours. Any ride quality issue? I don't hear any noise and don't feel any binding tho...

I'm selling "new" condition Signature Yellow LED Fog Light. I'll also include Raptor Amber LED kit. Price: $195 shipped within US (cash discount for local pickup at zip code 30096)
  17. Front Fox Shocks' springs are off-centered

While I was changing my engine oil, I noticed that front coilovers' springs are not centric to the shock. Also, springs seem like they have slightly bowed inward to the engine side. Is this normal??
  18. F-150 Approach, Breakover and Departure (stock) vs. Ranger Raptor

Ranger Raptor lacks the ground clearance (10.7") compared to F150 Raptor despite higher breakover angle. In moderate level trails, my RR frequently drags its belly, side steps, rear trailing arm mounts. I'm planning add 1.5" lift to front & rear with 35" tires. IMO this combo will give me the...
  19. Trying to find a happy medium between lifting and off-roading

I wish RPG (or someone) offer at least 1.5” lift option. That would've been perfect
