I don’t think we can get a Diesel here in the USA (can’t build it on Fords site) I wish we could. That being said the Democrats have weaponized the Fed and are going after everyone who sells those in the US.
I had a F250 with the 7.3 and upgraded the turbo and then chipped it. Pulling a big...
These forums are great. It wasn’t so long ago to get information I had to ride to the library find a book (if they had it) read just about the entire thing then go home and try out what you found. How lucky we are to have all this information literally right at our fingertips
I tried what you said, I put a small crescent wrench on the key to not break the remote and Voila it Worked. Thank You for the info. Now I can change my own oil and not wait 4+ hours for the Dealer to show me dirty trans fluid or air filter with only 1200 miles on her !
Thanks again for everyone...
I searched but couldn’t find a thread. My glove box (2024 xlt sport) has a lock. Both my keys fit but won’t turn. What am I missing ? Why would ford put a lock that doesn’t work.
My f150 has one but came with a different key than the ignition.
The truck is pretty quick with the 2.7 also. Not fast, but in 55 years of owning cars I’ve had huge V8s that didn’t make anywhere near as much power. Just glad it has Traction Control .
I have an XLT Sport with the 2.7. My son has a 2.7 in his F150 with 270,000 miles on it with only oil and filter changes. Don’t worry about the “wet “ belt on the oil pump.
Hopefully Ford is reading this and can chime in. I had battery problems in my F 150 and they monitor that site, got involved with the dealer and eventually gave me an Extended Warranty for free ( after towing the vehicle 3 times) I want the wireless charger, I don’t want it overheating my phone...
I have the wireless charger in a 24 XLT 2.7 eco, my I phone gets so hot it has shut down using it. If there is a fan in mine it’s not working or I can’t hear it.
I agree, best money spent. This is the 4th vehicle I have put one on. Just couldn’t see replacing the Flywheel and Starter to save a thimble full of gas every tank. Best invention yet since the auto choke.
