I don't mind the strap at all. The Retrax cover has ultimate trouble with binding since your always pulling it open from one side or the other. It doesn't retract on it's own either like the Roll n Lock.

Still love the Roll N Lock. No leaks, works flawlessly and is low profile. Can't say that about that dang Retrax, what a POS that thing was.

Check this tailgate seal out from Keko. I did a lot of research and decided I liked the complete seal you get with this one due to the brackets they add on either side. Affiliate link on Amazon below.

Yup and that big gap I didn’t like either. I would like to see Realtruck update the bracket design lowering the horizontal flange by 3/16” allowing a better seal to the truck. Everyone that installed it should get new brackets

I also didn’t like the 1/4”ish gap between the rails and bed. This is due to the custom brackets that aren’t the right height. They hold it up off the bed. I think they took a standard product and just whipped up some Ranger brackets. I made a video about it.

Check out the Roll N Lock. Great seal and rolls smoothly. Realtruck was very nice about taking my Retrax back with a full refund.

I really don’t like how those Retrax hang off the corners. How does it slide for you? Your truck looks sweet! Always loved that color.

I installed the Retax OneMX tonneau and then tried the Roll N Lock M series XT. Check it out.

They didn’t have to reimburse for anything not genuine GM parts. But they did anyway.

GM bought back my lemon Canyon pickup. They paid for genuine GM parts and my Realtruck tonneau and aftermarket rust proofing. You must provide receipts for everything. I believe the Ford tuner should be reimbursed.

Putting a Retrax on today and doing a video. I'll post it up in a couple of weeks.
