Update: my dealership got me the proper hardware so I figured I’d show a picture of the package and the existing screws next to the new screws for anyone interested.

hey did your tailgate liner come with new hardware? I got mine from dealer today and it has no hardware. Existing screws in tailgate have too small of a head to clamp down on the plastic liner
