I admit taking the manual due to lower cost and reliability concerns about 10 auto. One of the downsides is that in this config, transfer case does not come with 4A setting. Only rwd or 4H.

Cool trip report!
Being from EU I checked some places of your road on streetview, amazing views and must have been a hell lot of pleasure with a new truck.
It has pros and cons, with wet timing belt being the second. It is economic though - on a road, driving speed limit at 90km/h ~56 mph with a cruise control it is not a problem to get to 38-40mpg. Normal town-driving is around 33mpg. If you push it will go to 20 tops.
This is in a 2.0 single...
true, yet procal is unavailabvle for 2.0 ecoblue engine, different ECU running on sid212.
So far the only products for this were piggyback box-type chips.
ECU was unlocked recently by a tuner garage in Belgium
Previous generations of 2.0 ecoblue "panther" engines also had different maps...
Hey!
After several months of use - are you still happy?
Does the chip give any error codes, check engine lights, or is it not being problematic at all?
RaceChip has a discount now, on the other hand ECU was finally "unlocked" by tuners and ECU remap is possible.
