Goose, I'm pretty interested in this. I hate I bought the FP tuner as now it is a waste haha. I didn't expect them to unlock these ECUs that fast.
How does elevation factor into your tunes? I live at 6800 feet in Colorado and only have 91 octane available. I also just installed the S&B so I am...
You realize how asinine that argument is? Of course using non-pump gas will make more power than standard 93/91. If you want to run alt fuel, you don't have another option than custom tuning.
Wouldn't the reduced IAT have a significant impact? I understand the heat soak aspect, but a custom tune incorporating a much higher efficiency intercooler would impact the end result of the tune I would think due to cooler charge temps, no?
I have been considering the fabulous fab intake setup to pair with the pro-cal tune. I mostly want the intake for the enhanced turbo sounds, but I wonder if there are additional gains with pairing a good intake with the pro-cal tune? Will the "learning" of the tune consider the additional...
Definitely getting some good numbers, but I think most folks are going to have a hard time justifying a $2,650 tune while the Pro-Cal tune gets you 75% of the same power and retains warranty for $700. Not trying to be a hater or anything, but that's alot of coin for a tune. At least there are...
I'm in a weird camp. I have a buddy coming at the end of May to come buy my Tundra. Using the money for a fat down payment on the Raptor. I'm hoping the truck doesn't get delivered until late May or early June lol. I doubt the dealer would hold it for me even with my deposit.
