It's practical over long distances, you just hold the steering wheel and the truck takes the turns by itself and stays centered in its lane (if the road markings are present).

Lane Assist is only active from 65 km/h (the icon turns green). On the highway with intelligent cruise control, it's "almost" autonomous driving.
