    Engine cover least worry for heat build up. If anything it will protect your hood better.

    No you don't need tow hooks for the front plate. I wanted tow hooks so I added them. And also added a front skid plate as this doesn't come on a non FX4 truck.

    Had a XLT 2x4. Added tow hooks had to trim the front bracket some and yes they hold up the intercooler but the area for skid plates is in the bottom so you can add tow hooks and if you have tow hooks the plate is attached to the bottom of the bracket. Simple.

    They fit both. and most advertise to fit both. Doesn't need tow hooks.

    Doesnt the gas door lock when you lock the car, or does it not. I was thinking how do you get in. and did yall stick it on the outside of the gas cap. LOL

    All that would be nice , No I ran them to switch 3. I may look into having the bed lights active on other lights. I have a lone battery LED motion sensing for the everyday simple stuff if I dont need alot of light. just taped to the back corner .
