  1. What’s so great about a Ronin plug?

Unless you plan to take oil samples or have a tiny oil pan, I don't see any advantage, just a lighter wallet.
  2. Running board hole filler?

That makes me glad I went all black when I bought mine.
  3. American Adventure Lab Ford Ranger Trailer Plug Tuck Kit Install

Has anyone tried relocating it without the bracket? Just let the bumper plastic hold it. Would it be too loose without the bracket?
  4. First oil change. Full synthetic vs synthetic blend

IMO, if you are going to be doing 5k mile oil changes, you will see almost zero benefit going to a group 4 or 5.
  5. Rocker Panel Tape?

Did you have to sand and scuff the factory paint to get it to stick? How well is it holding up?
  6. GMF Trailing Arm Sensor Covors

Thanks for showing these. I hadn't seen those and they are probably what I'm going to buy.
  7. IAG Oil/Air Separator

Don't encourage anyone to move out of California...because then they move to Montana. We have plenty of Californians already and don't need any more. 😄
  8. Fueling Thoughts

Great reply and thanks for saying it so much better than I did! All I'm going to say is that nothing I said was from AI. The first paragraph was my own and the second was from a fuel website. Where I live, premium costs $0.70 more per gallon.
  9. Fueling Thoughts

Octane is simply a standard measure of a fuel's ability to withstand compression in an internal combustion engine without causing engine knocking. Nothing more, nothing less. Octane does not give a fuel more energy or power. If you are working it hard enough (towing, racing) to cause it to...
  10. Ford Performance Air Oil Separator for Ranger Raptor 3.0L now available - experience / review?

Did Ford add port injection to the 3.0? Last I knew, the 3.0 was direct injection only.
  11. Raptor Exterior Graphics - Coming off in car wash

Touchless car washes require ridiculously high pressure to be effective. I'm not surprised they peeled some of your graphics.
  12. Fueling Thoughts

Do you have a tune or why are you worried about running higher octane? The 2.7 is designed to run on 87 octane.
  13. Undercoating: Skid plates on or off?

I undercoated mine myself. I pulled the skid plates and undercoated them separately. What product do you plan to have done? I definitely wouldn't have Ziebart do it.
  14. Pics showing Tuxmats versus OEM floor mats

The full set is $230, but Tux does run sales occasionally. Also, once you buy a set, they give a return customer discount of $20 off each set after that. Here is how they describe the construction: "Each mat is constructed with a waterproof vinyl layer, an EVA core for durability, and a...
  15. Pics showing Tuxmats versus OEM floor mats

If anyone is considering Tuxmats and was curious how much extra coverage they offer compared to OEM mats, here are some pics. I didn't take installed pics because they have them on the website. I can take some if someone wants to see something specific. Ranger Tuxmats
  16. IAG Off-Road Ranger Raptor Complete Underbody Skid Plate System – Looking for Testers

Message sent for testing on a Ranger Raptor.
  17. Oil Pan Leaking

Hopefully you have a good dealer that doesn't give you grief about warranty because of your aftermarket parts.
  18. Rival Skid Guards?

I hadn't seen that brand's version. Looks like one of the better designs. Now just to decide if I should just buy a guard or wait for the full relocate kit to be available.
  19. Let’s Talk Extended Service Plans / Warranty For Our Trucks

Not bogus at all. The company backing the warranty has to be making more than they are paying out. Otherwise, they would go out of business. That means that the majority of customers are paying more for the warranty than they are getting out of it.
