Yes! I was teasing around a bit. Although I get a lot of mail from Ford, my 2024 has been bulletproof. Not a lot of miles in it yet, but I love the truck and there was no going back to Tundra after their loss of mechanical invincibility and appearance. Chased the look of the Raptor, and failed..
Agreed. Did not want to do it, but live in snow country. Flaps do not keep things pristine, but without them, looked like mud was sprayed on with a hose. I know the holes in OEM running boards contributed, but it is much better and I don’t notice them at all anymore.
Following a nightmare experience with a Tundra and a spray-on bed liner outfit (where they sand the bed paint anyway), I went with the Ford drop-in and mat (which I trimmed a little for improved fit). Figured if I kept the truck long enough and wanted to convert to spray-on, whatever sanding and...
And the Carfax says “no accidents or damage.” Can’t rely on them, either… They are just a guide. As you did, still need to do your own inspections. Good eye!
Look what I found when looking up the Leer 650. Sent an inquiry regarding future fittament
Look what I found when looking up the Leer 650. Expensive and not available for Raptor yet, but an interesting design...
Brown paper towels and some upholstery cleaner. Unmitigated morons and they rarely fail to disappoint. Does not matter if it is Ford or a Toyota in a prom dress.
I hear you guys. Tough call on Raptor badge. Even thought about resale value (though badge can be reapplied). Also hoping I got a good one and will drive Raptor beyond most of its resale value. I bought it for the capabilities I learned about in large part on this Forum. As far as making it look...
From my experience, floss would not have been strong enough. Low test fishing line would probably work. The cutting power of the little Amazon device was terrific… Like butter. I’d send it to you if I could. Removal and cleanup was less than ten minutes. Love jobs like that! Poetry.

Used one of these. Some have said dental floss will work. This device seems a little more stout and made it very easy. Warmed up with hair dryer, cleanly removed badge from adhesive with string device, and then adhesive (still warm) just rolled up like a cinnamon roll. A little adhesive...
