Based on this Bronco6G thread, there doesn't appear to be a permanent fix from Ford. Those guys have had some luck by making a heat shield (post #171) to protect the propeller shaft from the hot exhaust.

Any update on yours? Did the driveshaft solve the issue? My 24 RR has started making this chirping sound which sound identical to the videos posted on Bronco6G.
My dealer replaced the driver side mirror. New mirror housing, but reused the painted mirror cap, puddle lamp, and camera. Unfortunately, it did not fix the wind noise. The dealer scheduled me to bring it back in a few weeks for further diagnosing.

Thanks for posting this. This solves the problem on mine. I don’t even need to use much force when the middle headrest is up a few inches. Kind of a dumb design though.
Were you able to determine where the squares go?
In the instructions for the tailgate liner for an F-150 or Maverick, the squares are used in different manners. It’s strange there is no mention in the Ranger instructions.
