Yes, he has that as part of his system.
What he can't figure out is where to attach it on the Ranger.
On his Tundra and on videos for previous years Rangers, that brake signal line is near the firewall and brake pedal.
The wiring on the 2025 Ranger is different...
Actually it doesn't, he's wanting to re-use the tow package from Tundra, with new baseplates for Ranger. Supplemental braking system is older than Ranger, so 2025 not included in instructions.
In fact, is there a supplemental braking system in the market for a 2025?
Hi folks, just joined the forum. My father purchased a 2025 Ford Ranger and is configuring it to flat tow.
He used to do this with his Toyota Tundra, where he was able to tap into the Tundras break pedal sensor switch(?) And feed that back into an led in RV, for break on detection.
