Also, for the folks asking about install over bed liner, it can be done. You may (likely) need to use a tap set to carefully clean out the threaded holes. If they sprayed over the tiedown bolts a sharp metal pick can clean out the bed liner inside the torx.
Heads up, Your website is saying you don't ship to Oklahoma when trying to check out. Worked a couple weeks ago when I ordered the hitch relocate and then the Molle panels.
Looking to add some tool mounts for my Molle panels. Which rock by the way!
Mine has done this as well. Only when my Android phone is paired and using Android Auto on the center screen. I think it's a wifi interference issue sending false signals to the computer. Probably the wires from the mode switch acting like antennae. If that's it, rf/em shielding on that section...
As far as mounts, how about a bracket that sets the weight on the load floor, and uses the molle to secure the mount upright. That would limit the loads to lateral on the bedsides letting the floor take the weight. Simple latch to hold the can in.
Definitely warranty. There is a harness plug along the frame that the BCM uses. That plug had a recall/tech bulletin in the last gen for pins that weren't seated properly. Had similar issues to what you described.
Ran the whole time at 20 p.s.i.. It was an arbitrary guess I expected to adjust as we went. Worked well on all the surfaces we encountered including the couple of climbs that were wet due to snow melt.
Those Foust guards do look like they'd do the trick though. The Broncos lower mounts come sloped from the factory. Weird oversight by Ford to make these straight up and down.
Just got back from a camping trip in the San Juan mountains in CO. Truck did great. Learned what it actually needs, and what it actually can do stock.
The mods I have are the Ford performance tune, a vinyl tonneau cover, and body mounted rock rails for clearance. Truck averaged 19.5 mpg round...
