The one out of Canada is a different tank. It's 140L (37 gal). I was quoted $2800 Canadian so like $2000 usd. They are hard to get for they bring them in from Australia like twice a year and the containers fill up fast.
Westcoast off roaders in BC? That's where I tried (much more convenient for me can I go drive there to pick it up) but their container is full and I'd have to wait for the next order meaning I wouldn’t see the tank until 2027.

It's 140L. Hopefully Stanghi can correct the DTE on it. I likely won't see the tank until late June.
I was under the impression from other readings on these tanks in other places that the DTE doesn't work when its full but when the amount of fuel get to the OEM amount it starts to work? Example: Stock tank full DTE is 300 miles. 35 gallon tank full will show 300 miles but when you get to 3/4...

I also removed my rear. I do off road so for that I'd say it was. If you were straight street driving you might get away with not removing it but I can't say that with 100% certainty. You can buy aftermarket ones that will work...
