I ran the amber from Aux1 and the white from Aux2. I leave Aux1 flipped so the amber is on anytime the truck is on regardless of headlights. This way it gives me flexibility if I ever want it.

Update - HP Tuners released an update for my device and now all works as expected. We had done a resync with the RTD4 before thinking that may have been the issue. It didn't change anything. Today after the update we did a resync again and viola.

Yes, once you take the grille out, there are factory bolts you use on each to mount the brackets to. No drilling, no mess.
