Do you kind expanding on what you did to fix? I believe mine is doing the same. Where was it not fully seated? Looking at my air intake there are several pieces.
I also have a 2024 2.3L that does this too. I have 1400 miles on mine. It feels like a misfire when cold start, that goes away once the truck is fully warmed up. But putting my truck in reverse and backing out of the driveway can cause it to surge.
