I tow my track car in an Aerovault enclosed trailer. Total weight is 5,500 lbs. As the name implies, the trailer is very aerodynamic and doesn't get buffed about. Recently towed from Atlanta to Bowling Green. About 650 miles round trip with several grades of between 6-9%. 2025 2.3l 2WD...
I suppose you could flip the axle and then add lift springs to get a modest 2-3" drop. The problem you'll always run into is the suspension travel. Any drop will come with a commensurate reduction in suspension travel.
Mine shows the same. I checked the oil temp on the dipstick with a contact pyrometer to see what it reads when the gauge is over half. Pyrometer was reading 180f. These factory gauges are buffered and rarely truly indicate actual temp or pressure. It is a bit odd though that it reads so...
For those few interested in a better road tire, Iāve gone ahead and answered my own question and have verified that 275/60/18 do fit the stock 7.5ā rim and clear the knuckle and UCA. Ride quality is significantly better with the Michelin Defender LTX tires and the wider squarer look is much...
It looks like an awesome truck and is a solid value for what you get and I really wanted to like it, but after a test drive of three Ranger variants (2.3 2wd, 2.7 4wd, and RR), the RR just felt lethargic. Sure, lots of torque and acceleration, but the handling made you feel every bit of the...
Iāve been using sport mode all the time and love it. I do a lot of my driving on rural roads and like how it stays in lower gears, basically like I would do if it had a manual.
I have the new WeatherTech mats and can say they are worth the premium price. I've been a customer for 20+ years and have used them on many vehicles. Fit is always superb and they just don't wear out.
Appreciate the replies, but I know well tire fitment. Iām looking for actual experience with this size. Sizing can vary quite a bit from tire to tire, even with the same manufacturer. There appear to be several threads assuming that 275/65/18 will fit. Since this a taller tire, I can...
I just took delivery of a 2025 XLT 2wd with the 18ā chrome wheels and am wanting to replace the Goodyear AT tires for a quieter smoother set of highway tires. Am wanting to go wider without changing the diameter. Seems all the discussion on this forum is for larger diameter off road type...
