I was in the same boat, I figured it was cheaper than taking it to the shop. After 30mins with it nearly stripped out and lots of channel lock bite marks later, it came out. With that thing, ~60 secs it will start to smoke (its about 300 degrees) and you can get it out with a regular T40.

60 seconds to loosen everything up and they come out pretty easily.
