I did something very similar last may and still loving it. I didn't get rid of my 2023 audi RS3 but i retired it from daily use, and have beeb using my ranger with the 2.7L and have been loving every minute of it surprisingly
Yup exactly. I guess for aero they keep the shutters closed as much as possible when in the highway so when the ac isnt running they are closed, and when on there open
Are those rocktrix wheels the 17x9 +12 offset? And if so any issues with clearance? I have a 2.7 marsh gray as well and would like to go as aggressive offset as i can with out rubbing and avoiding trimming
My 2.7 does the same thing just not as extreme. What I have noticed is that on the highway when the AC is off the oil tenps get hot as the active grille shutters are closed. As soon as i turn on the AC the grille shutters own and the oil temps drop pretty quickly back to normal. Fords programing...
alpha rex atleast in the past has been a down grade over the factory led headlights in the last 2 vehicles I've owned. Both on the third gen tacoma and the va chasis wrx. Curious to see if these are an upgrade or just have light dances to make them look more premium.
Im using amazon led pods mounted under rear bumper with a plug and play diode dynamics 7 pole reverse harness. You can put bigger led pod lights if you wish and require no cutting to harness.
Is there any company out there that makes a plug and play harness similar to something like this? Id much rather not tap in to a factory harness if i can avoid it.

Im running this harness. Plugs right in behind the 7 pole connector and no tapping of taillights which i think is a huge plus. Check it out not directly related to this thread but if it can help you not cut harness its a plus...
Awesome looks really agressive. love the look of the 0 offset will def consider. Did you run those wheels on the old level setup? Thats what I'm leaning to over the 3.5 inch lift. If you ran these on your old set up was there any rub?
Can you please take a picture of the truck looking at it from the front and back right by the tires. Kinda like the ones i posted. figuring out what wheel offset to go with would love to see how much poke a +25 has as im going for a look similar/ little bit more aggressive than my old taco...
How are these a true dual setup if it has a crossover lol. You can only have true duals when there is no crossover between the two pipes. They have to be kept separate from the moment it leaves the header to the tail pipe.
