The top boards did slide on top of each other. The board on contact with the mat did not. Your mileage may vary.

I got the mat to kinda wedge under the lip of the bed at the front. It’s a great fit overall.

Personally, I like the mat because the liner although textured somewhat, is still smooth enough that things will slide around if not secured. With the mat, I can throw things in there and not have to secure them every single time.

Haven’t tried the knee test yet…that will be another test with Tylenol.

Could be. I’ve only had my Ranger for about a month and haven’t experienced any temperatures lower than upper 80s yet.

Mine is only 10 degrees off.

I have this issue with my 2025 Ranger…reads around 10 degrees hotter than ambient. My previous car (Edge) read spot on.
