It's not that we're lazy, it's that we forget to push it. Then when you get to your first stop and the engine shuts off it just pisses you off as it's just one more cycle time on the starter and other components. Not thinking about it is nice also.
The 4D Tech works great but if you don't drive the truck a lot (3200 miles in 14 months) the battery will drain. The cable uses constant voltage to keep the auto start circuit alive so it will remember its last place. other than that it works flawlessly.
I know. I tried some others off that sheet and they didn't work. I think the cable from 4D Tech for $100 might be your best bet for now and it's a 1 minute install.
As far as I know they haven't written or discovered the code for that. But now that auto start/stop is being taken off US cars the dealer might be able to do it for a fee.
I think I just got the same recall letter for a pinched wire behind the sun visors. I'm going to start referring to my RR as a RRR (Ranger Recall Raptor).
I spoke to Winfield. The tow tune is an additional $175 over the initial $1300 already spent. I would love to squeeze as many ponies as I could out of this truck just for the fun of it. But having to change tunes back and forth isn't fun. I wonder if someone will eventually develope something...
I finally ordered my Goosetune and it arrived super fast. With my mods it should put roughly 110-115 more HP at the wheels according to them. Then I get the welcome email that clearly states 'Do Not Tow" with this tune due to overheating from advanced spark curves, boost and so on. Well that...
I should put all of my recall letters from Ford in a 3 ring binder to keep them organized. The latest is the trailer module (TRM) can lose communication at start up. Great. Just as I buy my new PJ trailer. Has anyone had this fixed yet?
This bumper came off of my truck at 28 miles. There isn't a scratch on it. I will not ship this. You must arrange pick up from 85042. $300
It includes what you see.
It does not include:
Lower valance
Radar unit
Wire harness
Outer Parking sensors.
I have had my 2025 RR for almost a year now and tried to use nav for the first time. I got the same message. Then I went into settings and enabled nav and other connected services and it started working. Now several weeks later I get an email that my nav trial is ending and I have to pay for it...
I'm thinking about making more now that the 2026 trucks are rolling out. message me at [email protected] so I can add you to the list of folks that want them.
